Nigerian Sports Award (NSA) is an award to recognize and celebrate outstanding performances by our sports men & women.
The NSA will be presented to such sports personalities, whose performances shone brightest at local & international level in the course of the year.
Nominations for the award is open to the general public every year.
Objectives
The main objectives of the award is motivation and social recognition of a sports person. The award is given yearly.
Another objective of this award is to give social status and greater dignity to deserving sportsmen and women in the society.
This award will work to develop sports culture throughout the nation.

August 15th, 2017 – Press conference (New award panel unveiling and 2017 Awards entries campaign launch)
August 15th, 2017 – Entries open - Nomination from the public for various Award Categories
October 3rd, 2017 – Entries close
October 5th, 2017 – Panel meets to compile top 3 nominations in all categories and to also discuss award event content and other issues concerning the award night – Invitations
October 10th, 2017 – Press conference - Finalist’s shortlist announced
October 10th, 2017 – Public voting for sportsman & woman opens
November 12th, 2017 – Public voting for Sportsman & woman closes
November 14th, 2017 – Panel meets to pick winners
November 17th, 2017 – Award ceremony

About Us
Unmissable Incentives Limited together embarked on the creation of the Nigeria Sports Award brand, in a bid to reward Nigerian sports stars for their efforts in keeping the passion of sport alive in the hearts of millions of Nigerians; through their efforts in local and international sports events.

The maiden edition of the awards took place on Thursday, November 29th 2012, at Federal Palace hotel Victoria Island, Lagos.
